The group NewJeans (consisting of members Minji, Hanni, Danielle, Haerin, and Hyein) has made a successful comeback on the Billboard Hot 100 chart with their pre-released single 'Super Shy.'

On July 19th (Korean Standard Time), Billboard updated its Hot 100 chart for the week of July 22nd, 2023.

According to the chart, 'Super Shy' debuted at No. 66 on the Billboard Hot 100 for the week. The single also grabbed the 2nd spot on both the Billboard Global (Excluding US) chart and the Billboard Global 200 chart, increasing the anticipation for its performance on the Billboard Hot 100.

Earlier, 'Super Shy' entered the 'Daily Top Songs' chart on Spotify in the U.S. at No. 9 and the 'Top 100' Official Singles chart in the U.K. at No. 59, fueling expectations.

With 'Super Shy,' NewJeans achieved their third Billboard Hot 100 entry following 'Ditto' and 'OMG,' setting a new personal best for the group's first week on the chart. Additionally, NewJeans has become the K-pop group with the most entries on the Billboard Hot 100 since their debut.

'Super Shy,' one of the triple title tracks from NewJeans' second mini-album 'Get Up,' topped the weekly charts of Melon, Genie, and Bugs (for the week of July 10th-16th) upon its release on July 17th. The prologue track 'New Jeans,' released alongside 'Super Shy,' came in second on Bugs' latest weekly chart and garnered considerable popularity. It ranked 22nd and 27th on Melon and Genie, respectively.

Not only the new songs of NewJeans but their previous works are still within the upper ranks of the three major weekly charts. Their debut song 'Hype boy' recorded 8th, 9th, and 10th place this week on Genie, Melon, and Bugs weekly charts respectively. Another debut song 'Attention' is 14th on Bugs, and 17th on both Melon and Genie.

The track 'Ditto' from the single album 'OMG' ranked 10th on Genie, 11th on Melon, and 13th on Bugs, while the title track of the same name as the album 'OMG' is ranked 14th on Melon, 17th on Bugs, and 18th on Genie.
