BTS's Jungkook, embarking on his solo journey, has taken both U.S. and Japanese music charts by storm with his first solo single.

According to the latest Spotify chart on July 15th (based on July 14th), Jungkook's solo single 'Seven (feat. Latto)' topped the 'Daily Top Songs Global' chart with 15,995,378 streams. Jungkook is the first Korean solo artist to enter and top the Spotify Global chart. According to Spotify, the number of streams for 'Seven' is the highest ever for a new entry on the 'Top Songs Global' chart.

On Spotify's 'Daily Top Songs Global' chart, the instrumental version of 'Seven' also climbed to 65th place. Jungkook's solo songs 'Still With You' and 'My You,' which were initially released as free tracks and later made available on domestic and international music platforms, ranked 54th and 113th respectively.

'Seven' also made a strong entrance on Japan's Oricon 'Daily Digital Single Ranking' (based on July 14th), simultaneously debuting at 1st, 2nd, and 4th places. The 'Clean Ver.' and 'Explicit Ver.' of the song topped the chart at 1st and 2nd places, with 17,142 and 9,625 downloads respectively, while the 'Instrumental' version took the 4th spot.

Since its release, Jungkook's 'Seven' has swept the top of the iTunes 'Top Songs' chart in 106 countries/regions (as of 9 AM on the 15th). In addition, 'Seven', just 11 hours after its release, climbed to the top of Melon's TOP 100, the largest music site in Korea (as of midnight on the 15th), setting a new record for the fastest time to reach the top spot for a male solo artist.
