The veil has been lifted on "Do not touch", the Japanese debut single of TWICE's first subunit, MISAMO.

JYP Entertainment, the parent company of TWICE, will launch the unit group MISAMO on July 26th, formed by Mina, Sana, and Momo.

Ahead of the official release of MISAMO's mini album "Masterpiece", the group previewed the third track "Marshmallow" on June 16th. The excitement for their debut peaked as the title track "Do not touch" and its music video were pre-released at midnight on July 14th.

The Japanese debut album title track "Do not touch" of MISAMO is an R&B genre song that brings out the inherent charm, color, and maturity of the three members. The song, penned by JYP's representative producer Park Jin-young, uses the phrase "Do not touch" - typically found in museums warning against contact with artworks - as a concept to portray the members as works of art themselves.

The lyrics of the song's highlight section, "Yes you can watch me if you love me But you can't touch me if you love me", convey the message that everyone is a noble being and should be treated preciously. The music video takes viewers into a world of art with the dazzling visuals of Mina, Sana, Momo, their elegant aura, and spectacular backdrops and outfits.

The debut album "Masterpiece", meaning 'a work of outstanding artistry', represents the fans' great anticipation for MISAMO's first album as a unit and its commitment to matching this expectation with quality. The album features a total of seven songs including the title track "Do not touch", "Behind The Curtain", "Marshmallow", "Funny Valentine", "It's not easy for you", "Rewind you", and "Bouquet". Momo, Mina, and Sana each participated in the songwriting for tracks "Funny Valentine", "It's not easy for you", and "Rewind you", respectively, adding depth to the album.

MISAMO, a combination many have been waiting and longing for, will hold the mini album release showcase 'MISAMO JAPAN SHOWCASE 2023' on July 22nd-23rd in Osaka and July 25th-27th in Tokyo to celebrate this special occasion with their fans.
