Taeyeon's First Solo Concert in Japan after 4 Years Sells Out, Engages Over 16,000 Enthralled Fans
Girls' Generation's Taeyeon has successfully wrapped up her concert in Tokyo, Japan after four years.
On July 8th and 9th, Taeyeon held her 'TAEYEON CONCERT - The ODD Of LOVE in JAPAN' at Tokyo's Metropolitan Gymnasium. She delivered a top-tier performance featuring live band accompaniment and striking musical sensibilities.
The concert, which marked her first in Japan since her 'TAEYEON JAPAN TOUR 2019~Signal~ ' in April 2019, sold out completely on both days, pulling in a crowd of 16,000 fans.
Taeyeon opened the show powerfully with "INVU", followed by the lively performance of "Weekend", the sentimental "No Love Again", and the unique vocals in "You Better Not". These varied and charming stages maintained an electrifying atmosphere throughout the concert.
Additionally, Taeyeon moved fans by performing "VOICE", the title track from her first Japanese mini-album, specially prepared for this Japanese concert, as the grand finale. Along with the encore, a total of 24 songs were performed, drawing passionate responses from the audience.
The fans who got to see Taeyeon in her solo concert in Japan after nearly four years stood and waved their pink fan lights throughout the concert. Their unwavering love and support were evident as they sang along to the Korean lyrics, catching everyone's attention.
Meanwhile, Taeyeon will continue her Asia tour on July 22nd at the Indonesia Convention Exhibition (ICE BSD) in Jakarta, Indonesia.
