Hyolyn is back with fresh music!

A teaser photo was officially shared on August 7 to confirm Hyolyn's forthcoming 2nd mini-album 'SAY MY NAME.' According to the reports, Hyolyn's single is expected to be completed and released at 6 p.m. KST on August 19.

ABOUT HYOLYN

Kim Hyo-Jung, best known by her stage name Hyolyn, is a South Korean artist under her self-established record label Bridʒ. She is mainly remembered as a previous South Korean girl band member and leader of Sistar and their subgroup, Sistar19.

CAREER

Hyolyn said she's adored music and dancing since childhood, and nobody's around enough to assist her, so she started picking up tryouts through her own. She competed twice before being approved for JYP Entertainment after landing first place in her audition. She was included in a project team with Secret's Jieun, EXID's Hani, and Bestie's Uji.

Preparations for their premiere, however, have been scrapped. Eventually, Hyolyn decided to leave JYP and ended up joining Starship Entertainment, auditioning a cover of 'Hurt' by Christina Aguilera.

In 2010, Starship Entertainment initiated establishing a new girl band, with Hyolyn as the leader. The team was commended for their fresh faces and everyone's vocal skills.

DEBUT

Hyolyn started her career by debuting with a girl band called 'Sistar' on KBS' Music Bank on June 3, 2010, with their premier single, 'Push Push.'

The Sistar19 subgroup was established in early 2011 by Hyolyn and band member Bora. They produced the famous song 'Ma Boy' in 2011, and Hyolyn launched the track 'Ma Boy 2,' including Electroboyz, on October 17, 2011. Their debut EP, Gone Not Around Any Longer, with an opening track of the same title, was made public in January 2013 and hit on a few music charts with a triumph.

Hyolyn also starred in a television drama series 'Dream High Season 2', portraying Nana's prominent band member character from a girl group Hershe.
