According to American entertainment media Page Six and other foreign media on the 29th (Korean time), pop star Madonna was found unconscious at her home in New York on Saturday (24th) and was urgently transferred to a New York City hospital.

Madonna's manager, Guy Oseary, then announced, "Madonna has been infected with serious bacteria since the 24th. She has been hospitalized in the intensive care unit for a few days and received treatment." He added, "Her health has greatly improved, and she has regained consciousness, but she needs more treatment. A complete recovery is expected."

The type of bacteria Madonna is infected with has not been disclosed.

The manager also added, "It seems that we will have to stop all schedules including Madonna's tour. We will share detailed information including the new start date and schedule of the tour as soon as they are available."
