Actor Lee Ji-hoon has issued an apology for his previous controversy surrounding allegations of high-handed behavior.

At the production report conference for the movie 'Flawless' held at Lotte Cinema Konkuk University in Gwangjin-gu, Seoul, on the 31st, Lee Ji-hoon bowed his head before the start of the event, stating, "It's my first public appearance since causing concern due to personal issues. I'm quite nervous. Regardless, I've learned a lot, and I would like to say I'm sorry."

Lee Ji-hoon had been embroiled in a controversy over accusations of high-handed behavior during the filming of the drama 'Sponsor', which aired last year. A staff member who participated in the shooting alleged that Lee Ji-hoon had acted arrogantly on set and that his behavior resulted in half of the writers and staff being replaced. Lee Ji-hoon denied these accusations, leading to a public dispute.

Afterwards, it appeared that the controversy was momentarily resolved through conversation. However, Lee Ji-hoon showed that the conflict was not yet fully resolved by failing to attend the production announcement event, despite being the lead actor.

This event was his first public appearance since the controversy. Lee Ji-hoon acknowledged his mistake and bowed his head in front of the press.

'Flawless' marks Lee Ji-hoon's screen comeback after four years, as well as his first leading role. Introducing his role, he said, "In 'Flawless,' I play a character named Lee Seung-jin. Seung-jin reflects the current environment faced by many young people. He has a dream of becoming a singer but lacks talent, however, he puts in a lot of effort. He challenges his dream by moving to a rundown house for the final audition."

Lee Ji-hoon is making a screen comeback nearly two years after the controversy.
