Group AESPA is back after a 10-month hiatus, ensnaring listeners' ears with their sugary B-side tracks in addition to their title track.

AESPA announced their third mini-album 'MY WORLD' on the 7th, showcasing the title track 'Spicy', as well as the B-side tracks 'Welcome To MY World', 'Salty & Sweet', 'Thirsty', 'I'm Unhappy', and 'Til We Meet Again'.

This album represents a turning point where AESPA steps out of the 'virtual reality' they've upheld since their debut, unfolding a new worldview in the 'real world'. The title track 'Spicy' steps away from the fantasy story where AESPA has fought the Black Mamba in the wilderness, presenting a provocative and hot story that tempts the opponent, thus appealing to the public in a friendly way.

One of the B-side tracks in AESPA's album, which wraps the ears with a different sweet taste compared to 'Spicy', is 'Thirsty'. 'Thirsty' sings of the process of falling into a pleasant feeling towards a partner who feels excited, with a sweet vocal and a dreamy atmosphere.

The chorus of 'Thirsty' is an easy-listening song that comfortably and beautifully reaches the listener as it is repetitively sung in a whispering manner. Besides the chorus, the poignant lyrics and melody at the beginning of the song evoke a calm excitement.

Giselle has stated about 'Thirsty', "Like the title, it's a song that expresses a thirsty feeling towards the other person. I love the sweet and dreamy feel of it, and it's a song I cherish. We first revealed this song at a concert, and the fans' response was really good." 'Thirsty' has already been picked by MY (the name of AESPA's fandom).

'Thirsty' was also selected as one of the '10 Cool New Pop Songs to Get You Through The Week' recently chosen by the U.S. Billboard. About 'Thirsty', Billboard said, "It's a song that shows the R&B digestion power of K-pop stars. The addictive chorus fits well with the delicate trap-inspired beats and soft vocals, winking at the target that girls like, such as the part saying, 'What you wanna wanna do boy?'."

In response to such good feedback, AESPA performed the stage for 'Thirsty' along with the title song 'Spicy' as a comeback stage on SBS 'Inkigayo' on the 14th. It's anticipated that AESPA, who have stepped out of virtual reality, will present unlimited genres in the future.
