Singer Lee Chaeyeon and Laboum's Haein are stepping down from Mnet's 'Queendom Puzzle', and the show will go on without filling their spots with additional cast members.

According to a report from Hankyung.com on the 18th, Lee Chaeyeon and Laboum's Haein have finally decided not to appear on Mnet's 'Queendom Puzzle', and no additional casting will be carried out to replace them.

Lee Chaeyeon and Laboum's Haein decided to step down after the first recording. The initial recording will be broadcast as is, without any edits.

'Queendom Puzzle' is a music variety show that creates a global project girl group by combining members from existing girl groups or female artists like pieces of a puzzle. It's a new season of 'Queendom', and Girls' Generation's Taeyeon continues to serve as the MC, following her role in season 2.

Mnet initially confirmed the appearance of Lee Chaeyeon, Laboum's Haein, Yeeun from CLC, JooE from Momoland, Kei from Lovelyz, and Japanese singer Shiroma Miru. There were also reports of casting former IZ*ONE members Yabuki Nako and Honda Hitomi, but they were not confirmed to appear in the first place and ultimately did not participate.

The show will premiere on June 13th.
