BTS member Jimin has shined as the 'King of K-Pop' by ranking No. 1 in a popularity poll for 128 consecutive weeks.

Jimin topped the first week of May (May 1 - May 7, 2023) weekly ranking on 'KDOL,' a K-Pop idol popularity voting site targeting global fans.

With a total of 20,683,457 hearts received in one week, Jimin has extended his own record of the most No. 1s in the weekly ranking for the 128th consecutive week.

As a result, Jimin has solidified his position as the top-ranking idol in the Hall of Fame with a cumulative vote count of 11,210,342,565 hearts, more than 3.9 billion ahead of the second-place contender.

As of May 13, Jimin still maintains the Hall of Fame's 10 crowns: most daily No. 1s (826 times), most weekly No. 1s (128 times), most monthly No. 1s (26 times), most daily votes (2,686,619,922), most weekly votes (2,749,178,562), most monthly votes (3,066,876,445), most birthday votes (2,686,619,922), longest daily No. 1 streak (61 days), and current consecutive daily No. 1s.

'KDOL', the global K-Pop idol popularity voting service app, is available for voting in countries around the world, including the United States, Japan, Southeast Asia, and South Korea. It reflects 100% of user votes from both domestic and international participants in the rankings and aggregates results in real-time. Rankings for daily, weekly, and monthly categories, as well as total votes, are combined to determine the Hall of Fame.

Meanwhile, as a reward for ranking No. 1 in the March monthly ranking on KDOL, subway advertisements featuring Jimin are currently displayed at Cheongdam Station and Gangnam District Office Station and can be seen until May 18.
