As the group BTS celebrates their 10th anniversary this year, they plan to pause their activities as a full group and catch their breath for a new flight, rather than landing.

Last year, BTS concluded their nine-year journey since debut with the anthology album 'Proof.' The album's release signaled a shift in focus towards individual activities, drawing global attention. While some expressed concerns, the decision was made with the upcoming military enlistment of members in mind, starting with Jin last December.

Following this, the members began their solo careers for the first time since their debut. The group, which had built its reputation in the global music market without any official solo activities for over nine years, proved the brand power of 'BTS' by achieving notable success with their solo albums.

In the meantime, the scheduled military enlistments of the members continued. After Jin enlisted as an active-duty soldier last December, J-Hope enlisted last month, receiving support from fans. Currently, RM is also preparing for enlistment, and the military enlistment rush among the members is expected to continue. While the enlistment dates for V, Jimin, and Jungkook depend on their personal choices, there is a possibility that they may choose to enlist earlier than planned, as Big Hit Music hopes to "resume full group activities in 2025."

If the agency's blueprint is followed, BTS will be able to open their 'second chapter' by resuming full group activities in about two years. The reason their 10th anniversary this year is seen as a breather for the next flight is due to the anticipation of their return.

Although the full group activities have temporarily stopped, they still have a strong presence in the global music market. Instead of concerns over a decline in status or fandom attrition due to military service, the anticipation for BTS' full group activities through individual projects has increased.

The second act of BTS, after completing their military service, will come as steadily and quietly as they have done so far. A recent message from RM amplifies the curiosity and expectations for their next 'flight.'

"To be honest, I'm curious and afraid of what it will be like after I return. Time is fast, everything changes, and I change too. I no longer want to be irresponsible in demanding all love or clinging to it. Instead of wandering to find love, I want to believe that if I exist with love and cultivate myself with effort, love will naturally come to me."
