K-pop's 2nd generation representative group, INFINITE, is reuniting as a full group on their 13th debut anniversary. The six members, who all left Woollim Entertainment, the agency that discovered them, by last October, have established a new agency, 'INFINITE Company,' for their team activities.

According to INFINITE Company on the 8th, the six INFINITE members will hold a live party to commemorate their 13th debut anniversary at midnight on June 9th. The members, who uploaded a greeting on their website ahead of their official debut on May 6th, 2010, announced their reunion through a teaser on the 6th, exactly 13 years later.

The INFINITE members recently established INFINITE Company, driven by their desire for full group activities. The representative is the team's leader, Kim Sunggyu. Kim Sunggyu is reported to have acquired the team's trademark rights and other related assets from Woollim. Although the members have different agencies, they will base their activities on INFINITE Company when engaging in team activities.

There are similar examples of activity in the K-pop industry, such as the longest-running domestic group, SHINHWA, which established Shinhwa Company and conducts Shinhwa activities through the company. 'god,' '2PM,' and 'GOT7' cooperate by discussing with their respective agencies during their activities, although they do not have a company for team activities.

INFINITE, who debuted in 2010 with the title track 'Come Back Again' from their first mini-album, gained popularity in Japan with hit songs like 'Be Mine,' 'Paradise,' and 'The Chaser.'

Starting as a seven-member group, they reorganized as a six-member group after former member Hoya left in 2017. The full group activities did not materialize as members, starting with L, gradually left Woollim.

INFINITE has not been active as a full group since their 2018 regular 3rd album 'TOP SEED.' They released the digital single 'CLOCK' in February 2019, but it was not a promotional track.

However, INFINITE's fandom 'INSPIRIT' is looking forward to a new album coming out after five years, following this reunion.
