Yoon Seo-bin, Withdraws from 'Produce X 101' and Leaves JYP Amidst Allegations of Past Bullying

On May 8th, 2019, Yoon Seo-bin, who was participating in Mnet's reality show 'Produce X 101,' withdrew from the program due to allegations of past bullying. According to an exposé, Yoon Seo-bin, previously known as Yoon Byung-hwi, was a notorious bully in his hometown during his school days.

As the controversy grew, JYP Entertainment, Yoon Seo-bin's agency at the time, announced, "We have decided to terminate our trainee contract with Yoon Seo-bin as it does not align with the company's policy. As a result, he will also be leaving the program."

Following the controversy, 'Produce X 101' edited out most of Yoon Seo-bin's pre-recorded footage. However, he inevitably appeared in group shots to avoid disadvantaging other contestants.

Yoon Seo-bin did not release an individual statement regarding the matter. However, he resumed his entertainment activities in November of the same year by signing an exclusive contract with Sublime Artist Agency and has continued his broadcast activities since then.
