A story that circulated on social media and online communities suggested that BTS member V had covered the medical expenses for Pero, the mascot dog of the tvN show "Seojin's." However, it has been confirmed that the story is untrue.

On May 2, a tweet claimed that V had paid for the vaccinations and leg treatment for Pero, a stray dog that appeared on "Seojin's" during filming and quickly captured the hearts of viewers.

The tweet mentioned that Pero had been adopted by one of the show's staff members residing in Mexico and that V had covered the medical costs before leaving Korea. The tweet spread across various online communities and was picked up by multiple articles, leading to a wider circulation of the story.

However, it has been confirmed that the story does not involve V but rather one of "Seojin's" production staff members. According to Ilgan Sports, the drone camera staff member from "Seojin's" was the one who paid for Pero's vaccinations and leg treatment, not V. A representative expressed gratitude for the public's interest in Pero but clarified that it was the show's production staff who had provided assistance to the dog.

Although the act of kindness towards Pero was not carried out by V, the fact that Pero received help from the "Seojin's" staff and found a new life is a heartwarming story worth remembering.

On a separate note, V's self-composed song "Sweet Night" recently surpassed 300 million streams on the world's largest music streaming platform, Spotify. In a recent poll conducted by the popular Japanese idol ranking site 'NEHAN' for the 'K-pop Male Idol Ranking,' V secured 10,894 votes and maintained his top position for 108 consecutive weeks.
