Actress Lim Ji-yeon of Netflix's "The Glory" has won the Best Supporting Actress award in the TV category.

On the afternoon of the 28th, the 59th Baeksang Arts Awards ceremony was held at KINTEX in Ilsan, Gyeonggi-do. The event was hosted by TV personality Shin Dong-yup and actors Park Bo-gum and Suzy, and was broadcast live on JTBC, JTBC2, JTBC4, and TikTok.

Lim Ji-yeon said, "Thank you so much for giving me such a big award. I'd like to express my gratitude to writer Kim Eun-sook and director Ahn Gil-ho, who gave me this opportunity. It was an honor just to participate. Thank you to my senior Hye-kyo, my loving perpetrator family members, and Do-hyun as well." Im Ji-yeon is currently dating Lee Do-hyun.

She continued, "I'd like to thank the Artist Company's Lee Jung-jae and Jung Woo-sung, as well as my parents who are watching on TV. 'The Glory's Park Yeon-jin was a challenge for me, and I was afraid of failure. I'm still scared of acting, and I often feel discouraged and blame myself. Sometimes, those thoughts make me wonder, 'Am I unhappy?', 'Is what I want to do different from what I'm good at?'" With tears in her eyes, she exclaimed, "Today, I want to tell myself in front of my respected seniors and colleagues, 'You've worked so hard as Yeon-jin, and you're doing well enough. You're amazing, Yeon-jin!'"

She then vowed, "I will become an actress who performs well in the given works and roles in the future."
