SBS' new sci-fi drama 'Alice' has released photos from the drama's first script reading. The actors present during the event are Kim Hee Sun, Kwak Si Yang, Joo Won, Lee Da In, Choi Won Young, Kim Sang Ho, Lee Jae Yoon, Hwang Seung Eon, YeonWoo, and Lee Jung Hyun.

'Alice' talks about the story of an emotionless detective who learns about the existence of time travelers who travels from the future through a device called 'Alice.' As he journeyed through an investigation about 'Alice,' he reunited through fate, a woman named Yoon Tae Yi (Kim Hee Sun) who died a long time ago.

Kim Hee Sun will be taking two roles in the drama, two same-faced people coming from different times. The actress showed versatility in playing a character in her 20s and a character in her 40s. With Kim Hee Sun's thorough understanding of her role, she captured the difference between the two characters using different manners of speech and facial expressions, which impressed the staff at the venue.

Taking the role of a person with congenital apathy named Park Jin Gyeom is Joo Won. With the unique character traits required in part, Joo Won has to use detailed acting to express his character's thoughts adequately. Though the task is challenging to act, Joo Won immersed in his role and was able to bring Park Jin Gyeom to life.

The two actors- Kim Hee Sun and Joo Won exchanged lines smoothly and gazes as if they have worked numerous projects together, building and expanding on each other's talent.

Moreover, aside from the two main characters are the star-studded cast. Lee Da teased her upcoming portrayal while Kwak Si Yang showcased his solid acting. Kim Sang Ho and Choi Won Young are also part of the line-up who have been acknowledged by the public for their acting skills. And actors Lee Jae Yoon, Hwang Seung Eon, Yeonwo, and Lee Jung Hyun enthusiastically delivered their lines that show a charm necessary to strengthen the drama.

Overflowing energy was felt during the entre script-reading, and the director, together with the production team worked vigorously not to miss a single detail.

'Alice' will air on August 28, at 10 PM, KST.
