"Burning Trotman" Season 1 winner Son Tae-jin opens up about his painful family history.

On April 22 at 11 pm (KST), MBN's "Dongchimi" will air a special episode on "Burning Trotman", featuring Son Tae-jin, Shin Sung, Enoch, and judges Seol Woon-do and Kim Yong-im, discussing the theme "Men Don't Cry."

On the show, Son Tae-jin reveals, "I was born with a congenital heart condition and spent about a month and a half in an incubator. At that time, my parents heard, 'We're not sure if he'll make it through the night. It's 50/50.'" He shares his experience of the critical situation he faced in the past.

He continues, "Now, I've miraculously recovered to some extent and am alive." However, he adds, "As I grew up, I had a lot of accidents, contrary to my childhood." Son Tae-jin's playful behavior and running around caused everyone to be surprised, and his parents even refrained from dining out.

Son Tae-jin says, "From my parents' perspective, they might have been annoyed. They took care of me when I was sick, and suddenly I was running around and getting hurt. But now they tell me, 'It's such a blessing to be alive right now.' I'm so grateful for that, and I want to repay them for the rest of my life." He conveys his heartfelt gratitude toward his parents who always supported him.

Meanwhile, Son Tae-jin also reveals the existence of a sister he has never mentioned publicly before. "I've never talked about this before. There was a sister between my brother, who is five years older than me, and me," he says, sharing the heartbreaking story that evokes deep emotions.
