YG Entertainment has announced a strong response to Chinese rumors involving BLACKPINK member Rosé.

On the 13th, YG Entertainment stated, "Rumors related to BLACKPINK's Rosé being spread on some online communities and SNS are clearly false."

The company continued, "We are taking legal action against acts that infringe on the rights of our artists and tarnish their reputations. We are currently monitoring those who created and spread these rumors, and we will respond strongly without any leniency or agreement in the future."

Earlier today, Chinese media and SNS reported rumors that Rosé had used drugs at a gathering with friends. The rumors originated from a photo shared by the creative director of a brand. In the photo, Rosé and her friends are seen laughing and posing happily. Some Chinese netizens claimed, "It looks like there's something strange on the black and white ashtray on the table," suggesting drug use. The unverified rumors spread rapidly, causing a stir in public opinion, including Chinese SNS.

Meanwhile, BLACKPINK, which Rosé is a part of, held the "BLACKPINK WORLD TOUR [BORN PINK] JAPAN" at the Tokyo Dome in Japan on the 8th and 9th. The concert was sold out, attracting a total of 110,000 audience members over two days.
