Rei of South Korean group IVE has temporarily suspended her activities due to health issues, just one day after their comeback. Rei had previously left an event early on the day of the comeback due to poor health.

Starship Entertainment, the agency representing IVE, issued a notice about Rei's health status, stating, "Rei recently experienced symptoms such as heart palpitations and tightness in the chest, prompting her to seek consultation and examination at a hospital. Medical professionals advised that she requires treatment and rest."

The agency continued, "After thorough discussions with Rei based on the medical opinion, we have decided to temporarily suspend her activities for her health recovery." They also asked for fans' understanding and promised to provide updates on any changes.

Rei's situation is particularly unfortunate given that it happened just one day after their comeback. On April 10, Rei had left the press conference for IVE's first full album "I've IVE" held at Conrad Seoul in Yeouido early due to her condition, only participating in the photo time.

On that day, Rei was captured staring blankly with a dark expression while other IVE members were leaving the venue. An insider mentioned her poor condition but did not specifically discuss Ray's health issues.

However, the day after the press conference, Rei received the medical advice that she needed treatment and rest. The severity of her condition, which led to her temporary hiatus just one day after their comeback, has caused great concern and sadness among fans.

Meanwhile, IVE has been successful with their consecutive hits, from their debut song "ELEVEN" to "LOVE DIVE," "After LIKE," and their recently released pre-release track "Kitsch."

With high anticipation for their comeback, IVE's first full album, released on April 10, immediately topped the Worldwide iTunes Album Chart. The title track "I AM" has also been receiving much love on domestic and international charts, continuing their winning streak.
