BTS member Suga has taken over global charts with a pre-released track from his solo album.

As of 9 a.m. on April 8(KST), "People Pt.2 (feat. IU)," a pre-release track from Suga's solo album "D-DAY," has reached No.1 on the iTunes 'Top Songs' charts in 87 countries and regions, including the United States, United Kingdom, and Canada. The music video for "People Pt.2 (feat. IU)" also ranked high on YouTube's popular trending video charts in multiple countries and regions, surpassing 6.64 million views by 9 a.m. on April 8.

"People Pt.2 (feat. IU)" is a pre-release track from Suga's solo album "D-DAY," which he presents under his pseudonym Agust D. The pop R&B genre track combines a boom-bap rhythm with Suga's seemingly effortless rap and IU's clear voice. In the song, Suga, as Agust D, explores the emotions and relationships between people - love, breakup, fear, sadness - which may seem trivial after they pass but continue to repeat.

"D-DAY" is the grand finale of the trilogy series following the mixtapes "Agust D" and "D-2," which Suga released under the name Agust D. Suga has taken the lead in the overall production of the album, including writing lyrics, composing songs, and producing the album.

The full "D-DAY" album, including the title track, is set to be released on April 21 at 1 p.m.
