BLACKPINK member Jisoo has become a "million-seller" with the first-week sales of her debut solo album, breaking the record for the highest first-week sales among K-pop female solo artists.

According to Hanteo Chart on the 7th, Jisoo's first solo album 'ME' sold a total of 1,172,351 copies from March 31st to April 6th. This is the second-highest record among South Korean female singers, following BLACKPINK's second full-length album "BORN PINK" (1.54 million), and the highest in K-pop female solo history.

The LP version of "ME" has not yet been released, so its sales were not included in the tally. Considering the album's pre-orders surpassed 1.31 million copies and BLACKPINK's immense popularity worldwide, the final sales figures are expected to grow even more.

Jisoo is also making her presence felt on various global charts. The title track "FLOWER" topped iTunes album charts in 64 countries, including the United States, and reached the highest-ever position for a K-pop female solo artist on Spotify, the world's largest music streaming platform, at No. 6. The song has also maintained its position at the top of domestic major charts, showcasing its powerful digital performance.

True to her title as the "YouTube Queen," Jisoo's content views are equally overwhelming. The music video for "FLOWER" is rapidly approaching 100 million views, while the dance performance video is drawing immense popularity. Released on April 6th, the dance video surpassed 10.8 million views in just one day, claiming the No. 1 spot for the "Most Viewed Video in 24 Hours."

BLACKPINK, which Jisoo is a part of, will continue their momentum with their largest-scale K-pop girl group world tour, "BLACKPINK WORLD TOUR 'BORN PINK'", drawing around 1.5 million fans. After successfully completing 14 concerts in 7 North American cities last year and a 10-concert European tour across 7 cities, they are now meeting more fans in Asia. In addition, they are set to headline the US "Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival" in April and the UK "Hyde Park British Summer Time Festival" in July.
