In just one week, K-pop group IVE is set to release their highly anticipated first full-length album

IVE will make a comeback in the music scene after eight months with the release of their debut album "I've IVE" on April 10th. The group, which has already scored three consecutive hits with "ELEVEN," "LOVE DIVE," and "After LIKE," is expected to create a new wave of popularity with their first full-length album.

"I've IVE" showcases a more solidified style and message from IVE, with lyrics reflecting self-confidence and the concept of love. The album consists of 11 tracks, including the title track "I AM," pre-released song "Kitsch," "Blue Blood" unveiled at their first fan concert "The Prom Queens" in February, and "Lips," which features lyrics by Cosmic Girls' Exy.

Part of the excitement surrounding "I've IVE" is due to it being the group's first full-length album. Collaborations with hitmakers, as well as the active participation of the members, hint at the meticulous effort put into the album's creation.

Lyricist Kim Eana worked with IVE for the first time on the track "I AM," while Seo Ji-eum, who has built IVE's narcissism-themed universe through their previous works, participated in "Blue Blood." Hwang Hyun, who has worked with various K-pop artists like SHINee and ONF, contributed to "NOT YOUR GIRL" and "Curious."

IVE members also actively participated in the creation process. An Yujin wrote the lyrics for "Heroine," while Jang Wonyoung took on "Mine" and "Shine With Me." Gaeul and Rae showcased their improved musical skills through rap-making for four tracks, including "Kitsch."

The success of the pre-released song "Kitsch" adds to the anticipation for "I've IVE." "Kitsch" topped real-time, daily, and weekly charts on domestic music sites Melon, Genie, Bugs, FLO, and Naver VIBE within a week of its release.

IVE has also garnered significant international attention. "Kitsch" ranked 9th on the US Billboard Hot Trending Songs Weekly Chart and 1st on China's largest music streaming platform QQ Music's K-pop Weekly Chart. The music video also claimed the top spot on YouTube's Music Video Trending Worldwide Chart.

IVE's global market expansion is also in full swing. Kakao Entertainment America, the North American subsidiary of Kakao Entertainment, has partnered with Columbia Records, a subsidiary of Sony Music, to manage IVE's global activities. With their immense popularity in South Korea, fans are eager to see if IVE will rise to international stardom with the release of "I've IVE."

Cultural critic Park Song-ah said, "IVE is a group with a lot to explore musically. I believe they have much to show in terms of genre and technicality." She added, "I look forward to seeing what growth they will demonstrate through this full-length album."
