Born in New Zealand, K-pop idol BLACKPINK's Rosé set two Guinness World Records with her solo debut, notably with On The Ground.

BLACKPINK Rosé's impressive Guinness World Records milestone

The 24-year-old card-carrying member of BLACKPINK impressively made sure everyone will treat her as the queen when she sets two Guinness World Records with her solo stunt.

That said, BLACKPINK's Rosé made her way to the K-pop music scene temporarily alone with her debut single album entitled R, alongside its accompanying single On The Ground. The said album was released exactly a month ago, reaching heights unlike any other.

Soompi reported that Guinness World Records revealed on April 9 (Friday) that BLACKPINK Rosé's music video for On The Ground has been named as the most viewed music video by a K-pop soloist on YouTube in just 24 hours after its release.

Furthermore, the said music video has collected 41.6 million views 24 hours after its release on the video streaming platform. BLACKPINK Rosé's notable YouTube feat breaks the record of fellow K-pop star PSY after eight years of holding the said title.

It was eight years ago when PSY set the same record with his 2012 hit music video Gangnam Style with a whopping 36 million views.

BLACKPINK's Rosé Billboard feats

On the other hand, the BLACKPINK member is named as the first to hit the Billboard's global charts, both as a group and a soloist.

With no hesitations, BLACKPINK Rosé's On The Ground made its way to No. 1 on both Global Excl. US and Global 200 charts.

Undoubtedly, BLACKPINK Rosé's influence on her fans backs up all of her achievements and prizes, with some saying the matter is just the start of her record-breaking solo success.

The official Twitter account of Guinness World Records posted a congratulatory post to BLACKPINK's Rosé, leading for the K-pop soloist to trend.

Congratulations to Rosé!
