In December 2019, Red Velvet's Wendy was brought to the hospital after a 2.5-meter drop from a stage during the 2019 SBS Gayo Daejun rehearsals.

With the encouragement and support of her fans, friends, and relatives, she embarked on the road to healing and recovery time. Seulgi said that Wendy spent most of her time comfortably, working diligently every day.

Wendy is reportedly attending therapy counseling sessions and is focusing on her singing in the rehearsal studios. Wendy also approached the youngest members of Red Velvet, who were the first to inform Seulgi and Irene, that she had seen and applauded their overall performance for the music video of 'Monster.'

Irene assured fans that after 'Monster,' they will continue with their "Play" promotional activities. Irene also revealed that a complete member comeback is possibly happening. (via Koreaboo)
