In the growing Korean entertainment world, unfortunate incidents are inevitable, especially for famous celebrities. One of those incidents is getting duped or scammed.

BLACKPINK's LISA

Recently the former manager of Lisa scammed her a total of €1 billion. What's more surprising was that the manager had been with BLACKPINK since their debut and was someone who Lisa wholly trusts and respects.

The manager used Lisa's trust and assured her that her money would be used for real estate investments. Unfortunately, the manager used it on gambling instead.

Tiger JK And Yoon Mi Rae

Tiger JK and Yoon Mi Rae once founded a firm that regulated the music genre that they produced with their now ex-managers. The managers were responsible for the company's operations, while the marketing side is done by Tiger JK and Yoon Mi Rae, including records, concerts, and ad campaigns.

That being said, their managers still reported that given their regular schedules, the two weren't making a profit.

Tiger JK & Yoon Mi Rae concluded by thinking that hip hop was not a thriving genre. It wasn't long until Tiger JK started to doubt them, as their managers said that they obtained $1,400 for three ads.

Tiger JK managed to sneak into the firm office and discovered some terrible stuff. He ended up finding out that they had received around $470,000 for their three ads alone.

The discovery indicated that the managers had been lying regarding their earnings to them all the time. In total, the two had tampered with $4.7 million within one year.

Kim Jun Ho

The CoKo Entertainment Co-CEOs were Kim Jun Ho and Kim Woo Jung.

Kim Woo Jung had misused and abused its assets and fled to the United States at the end of 2014. The firm then fell in liabilities and eventually declared bankruptcy.

IU

The list analyzed IU's complicated fame journey briefly and noticed a company had once scammed her. There had been a company that agreed to support and accept her when she was auditioning for entertainment agencies.

But she was shocked when unexpectedly the firm that accepted her disappeared after obtaining money from her.
