South Korean singer-rapper-songwriter-dancer-record producer J-hope released an impressive single in celebration of his debut solo mixtape! That said, J-hope dropped the full version of Blue Side on March 1 (Monday).

BTS J-hope releases new music

As mentioned above, Blue Side made its way to the music industry as the newest single of BTS J-hope. The 3-minute track is the full version of Blue Side, which was first heard on the idol's mixtape entitled Hope World as the outro.

J-hope hails a co-writer for the track, with the producers' Hiss Noise and Adora. Also, the music was released in an artsy manner, about the cover art by South Korean contemporary artist Eddie Kang.

The cover art features scribbles and doodles of the literal lyrics of Blue Side, colored in the shades of blue, making it very cool and artistic. Furthermore, Blue Side was released by BTS J-hope via SoundCloud and YouTube.

'Blue Side' celebrated the anniversary of 'Hope World'

The 2021 version of Blue Side surprised ARMYS worldwide, as it was released on the third anniversary of BTS J-hope's debut mixtape.

"Spring, summer, fall, and winter, always in that same feeling, Blue / I'd want to go back to those days when I didn't know anything," J-hope sings, tagging along with a soft rack tempo.

In a letter shared by the Grammy-nominated K-pop artist, he said that the single is a product of his extreme longing for a haven where he could express his exceeding sense of passion.

Talking about the outro version of Blue Side, J-hope revealed that as time passed, the answers to why he could not finish the song; the theme. That said, the new version of the track expresses a more musically mature J-hope.

Meanwhile, Blue Side is BTS J-hope's first solo music release since his Billboard 200 song Chicken Noodle Soup with Becky G in 2019.
