The world's most phenomenal K-pop group BTS will appear in an online concert once again, and this time, it would be via Grammys!

BTS's scheduled Grammy performance

The prestigious Recording Academy confirmed that the K-pop boy group BTS will be performing at MusiCares' Music on a Mission online concert. The vast announcement comes in handy on March 2 (Tuesday), following South Korea's time zone.

Furthermore, the confirmation was done by MusiCares' official Twitter account, saying BTS is the newest addition of performers' lineup for #MusicOnAMission.

The Grammy-nominated K-pop band joins the before-announced performers like John Legend, H.E.R., Jhene Aiko, and Haim. Also, the event will be making known a special video from the MusiCares vault, which will grace the show songs from Usher, Bruce Springsteen, Stevie Nicks, and the late Tom Petty.

'Music on a Mission' will pave the way for BTS

MusiCares' Music on a Mission is an annual gala event in celebration of selecting the Person of the Year. However, due to the US government's restrictions to contain the spread of COVID-19, the show will be done virtually.

It will serve as a virtual fundraising event to honor and pay tribute to the COVID-19 inflicted community of musicians and firms.

It will take place on March 12 (Friday), and tickets are available on support.musicares.org. Tickets are on sale for $25, and all proceeds benefit those who are greatly affected by the agitating pandemic caused by the coronavirus.

On the weekend after the event, BTS will be crossing swords against fellow musicians nominated for Grammy's Best Pop Duo/Group Performance award for Dynamite.

"It is our responsibility to support music people through this pandemic and beyond," Laura Segura said, MusiCares' Executive Director.
