EXID's Jeonghwa talks about her upcoming action film project, 'The Dragon Inn Part 2: The Night of the Gods.'

On February 9, Tuesday, EXID's Jeonghwa shred some of her insights on her upcoming film, 'The Dragon Inn Part 2,' where she will act as Ji Hye from the Yong Ru Gal squad, who is also a commanding person who plots plans and strategies for the whole team. The action film will revolve around the story of a missing girl.

Jeonghwa first recalled when she first audition for the 'The Dragon Inn' movie and how her role reflects some of her aspects. The K-pop idol turned actress also expressed how she wanted to try a role to command and lead a team.

About her recent big breakthrough, the first part of the sequel film, 'The Dragon Inn Part 1: The City of Sadness,' Jeongwa said, "As I changed my path into acting, I didn't expect to greet viewers through a film first. Although there are some points I felt were lacking after officially showcasing a project like this, I remember I filmed with all my might, thinking it would be nice if I didn't have any regrets."

Moreover, the actress also loved how the casts and the staff bond after filming and often visited convenience stores to get food and eat together. EXID's Jeonghwa further noted how she wanted to build connection and mutual respect around people she's working with as if they are her co-members.

EXID's Jeonghwa also notified the fans that the group's reunion can still happen. However, she wanted to fulfill her dreams as an actress, making her name in the film industry.

The actress added, despite wanting to act, she still enjoys singing, and if she's ready to take a venture into music again, she will not be hesitant to go down that road again.

When asked about her thoughts about her group, Jeonghwa replied sweetly and said that the group will always be like a house she can always go back to. The group will always be in her heart and commended how each group member is working on their own to achieve their goals and fulfill their dreams in life.
