Jo Byeong Gyu participated in an interview where he shares his thoughts on the upcoming second season of 'The Uncanny Counter,' his goals, and more. 

On January 29, Friday, Jo Byeong Gyu first revealed that 'The Uncanny Counter' was his first-ever project under OCN and that the recent milestone the show has achieved is something unimaginable on his part.

The actor also shared that it made him happy that many people are enjoying and acknowledging the show's cast and storyline as they were also able to make good memories with the staff and other casts of the show. 

About his lead role, Jo Byeong Gyu shared it was his first-ever lead role project and that it made him felt pressured at first but eventually succeeded in overcoming it with the help of the show's director, co-actors, and the staff members. When asked about the most challenging scene, Jo Byeong Gyu admitted it was the highlight of the webtoon itself and the show's goal. 

Moreover, after confirmation of 'The Uncanny Counter' season 2, Jo Byeong Gyu revealed he doesn't have any ideas about the new season. 

He further noted, "I also learned through the news, and I only heard that they were in the midst of fine-tuning. The actors also had a strong hope for season two because of our desire to remain together as the counters and to cherish our happy memories from the set for a long time. I haven't yet heard anything about the broadcast or time frame."

The actor also showed deep appreciation for variety shows and would always watch one whenever he finds time. Jo Byeong Gyu shared he wanted to bring happiness to viewers by hosting various programs like Yoo Jae Suk of MBC's 'How Do You Play.'
