The same day the news of the rapper's death came into headlines on various media outlets, January 25 (Monday), Iron's ex-girlfriend uploaded a caption-less photo.

The photo intrigued everyone, if not all, as it shows a meme of Australian-American songstress Nicole Kidman. Nicole can be seen stretching out her arms wide open and showing off an emotion that feels freedom and liberation.

The late Iron vs. Ex-girlfriend in an assault case

The said former lover of the late rapper was known as a victim of physical assault, and it was Iron who is the suspect. The case made headlines in 2017, where the rapper's ex-girlfriend claimed she was injured and assaulted by him.

Iron then was sentenced to eight months of jail time, alongside two-year probation and 80 hours of community service.

During the peak of the case, the lawyer of Iron's ex-girlfriend said:

"She was afraid of being abused again in retaliation even to this day. The public believes Iron has received a light sentence and criticizes the court's ruling at the first trial."
