Following the successful release of 'BE' (Deluxe Edition) last year, BTS confirmed they would be returning this year with a new version of their album, 'BE' (Essential Edition) on February 19.

Moreover, Big Hit Entertainment revealed that 'BE (Essential Edition) will feature eight tracks from the album's Deluxe Edition. However, some of the other components will be different from the last album released in November 2020.

Big Hit Entertainment further noted that the upcoming album 'BE' (Essential Edition) would also contain some surprising gifts for the fans!

BTS's 'BE' Album

'BE' is composed during the most difficult time when the world faces the same crisis when the world is uniting as one when the world values helping hands. Despite the unfortunate cancellation of their previous world tour, halted promotional activities, press conferences, and many more, they have aimed to uplift the spirits and hope of their fans as they release their fifth studio album, 'BE.'

BTS describes the whole album as 'a letter of hope', which touches the concepts of comfort, loneliness, anxiety, depression, frustration, hope, connection, and joy. The album received tremendous love and support and is now hailed as one of the most top-charting albums of BTS.

BTS's 'BE' was also given a positive remark in Rolling Stone India.

"The pandemic unexpectedly put a lot of our original plans to a halt. However, it provided us an opportunity to step back and focus on ourselves as well as our music. We reflected the emotions that we felt during this unprecedented period into this album. We were also able to take a step further by taking roles in overall production, such as concept development, composition, and visual design." - Jimin, Rolling Stone India.
