Red Velvet's Wendy and Super Junior's Kyuhyun talks about their new music variety show and their roles as the show's host.

On January 19, Tuesday, the 'Mystical Record Shop' show's host Red Velvet's Wendy and Super Junior's Kyuhyun shares thoughts on their roles ahead of its premiere date. Red Velvet's Wendy first shared how she couldn't believe when she was chosen to lead the show as one of its hosts together with other senior artists whom she greatly respects.

Since it is Wendy's first time being the main cast of a variety show, she revealed how she was nervous and excited at the same time. Moreover, Super Junior's Kyuhyun cheerfully expressed his thoughts on being the 'Mystical Record Shop' host.

He said, "I heard that there was going to be a new variety show. I heard that it was a talk show related to music, and I thought it sounded fun. I was looking forward to working with Yoon Jong Shin for the first time in a while. I was also excited to work with Jang Yoon Jung and Wendy."

When asked about their sole reasons for joining the main cast line-up, Red Velvet's Wendy admitted how she's the type of person who is open to all types of music. She also narrated how she would recommend tracks to her friends, especially when they don't know about it, and would give feedback that they loved it.

Wendy further noted how senior artists like Yoon Jong Shin, Jang Yoon Jung, and Kyuhyun have wider knowledge in music, and how this would help her learn a lot from them. Furthermore, the hosts were asked if they were looking forward to working on the show, and Kyuhyun answered it was Jang Yoon Jung.

Kyuhyun added he is curious to know what kind of workflow they would give off on-screen working as both artists in the music industry. Meanwhile, Wendy encouraged the viewers to watch the music show as it will feature life experiences on the show to which some can relate and learn to.
