Following the ongoing dispute between actor Shin Hyun Joon and his former manager for 13 years- Kim Gwang Seob, the actor responds to the accusations being thrown at him, including illegal propofol use.

On July 9, Kim Gwang Seob revealed in an interview that the actor mistreated him for 13 years.

According to Soompi, the former friend of the actor asserted that he was spoken to rudely, got underpaid, refused a formal contract, and forced to take care of Shin Hyun Joon's mother.

With this claim, Shin Hyun Joon, together with his current agency- HJ Film, released a statement to deny the accusations.

However, on July 13, Kim Gwang Seob filed a report to the Seoul Gangnam Police asking for reinvestigation of Shin Hyun Joon for the illegal use of Propofol, wrote Allkpop.

The former manager insisted that he and Shin Hyun Joon met with the prosecutor in a café. The investigator for the prosecution presented Shin Hyun Joon, the evidence of Propofol injection in his medical record.

Shin Hyun Joon admitted then that he sometimes used the drug as a treatment for his back pain. When the investigator heard his explanation, he then asked for his medical record.

With Kim Gwang Seob unaware of what happened in the investigation's improvement, he requested the actor's reinvestigation with regards to the issue and how it ended.

Shin Hyun Joon made a statement saying that he is in pain, being in a situation where he has to be careful about everything. "I don't know why he is like this," he said. He questioned why the issue between the two old friends was brought in front of the public eye.

The actor also answered the accusation regarding his use of Propofol. He said that the prosecution ended with the acknowledgment that it was for proper treatment.

The actor concluded by saying that his former manager is digging old dirt, and he doesn't know why he is doing so.

"I don't know what he'll dig up next. Instead of being anxious, I'm just discouraged. I can only regret the friendship that we shared for years."
