Red Velvet is back on stage with a full-membered group performance, commemorating Wendy's return to the group after her health issue hiatus.

On January 1, Friday, Red Velvet is back on stage as the girl group performs on SMTOWN Live' Culture Humanity' with their track, 'Bad Boy,' and 'Peekaboo' following short hiatus since their last controversy involving Irene.

SM Entertainment's 'SMTOWN Live, 'The Culture Humanity' is a special performance by all of the label's artists to comfort and help people from across the world to have hope despite the challenges brought by the COVID-19 pandemic.

The project is launched as a free virtual concert performance from various SM Entertainment K-pop idols, including Red Velvet. As the group returns on stage as five members, Red Velvet's Wendy also expresses her excitement about being back with her co-members and doing promotional activities together.

Red Velvet's Wendy previously went on hiatus after sustaining an accidental injury while doing performance rehearsal at the 2019 SBS Gayo Daejeon. Fortunately, in August 2020, she officially announced that she would be 'partially returning' to doing media activities with Red Velvet after recuperating gradually from her incident.

Finally, Red Velvet's Wendy is back on stage with her co-members as they perform for the SMTOWN Live as a complete group. Fans who are thrilled with her appearance express how much they missed her voice and performances on social media platforms.

Moreover, Red Velvet's Wendy seized the opportunity to greet all of ReVeluvs (Red Velvet fandom) after performing on stage. Wendy said, "It's been a long time since we met you. How are you doing? After 1 year, I was able to stand on the stage with Red Velvet as a whole, but it is a thrilling and exciting position. Above all, I am more happy to be able to stand on the SM Town stage with Red Velvet as a whole."

Furthermore, Red Velvet members shared how they missed performing with having a live audience, including most of their fans. Also, they missed attending events and performing on stage without the need to wear a mask to have an easy view of the fans and audience.
