Everything Is Set For The 30th Seoul Music Awards: Here Are The Nominees

The upcoming '30th Seoul Music Awards' unveiled the official list of nominees!

The 30th Seoul Music Awards is in full swing

Soompi reported on December 10 (Thursday) that the forthcoming awards ceremony of the 30th Seoul Music Awards released the full and long list of nominees.

This year, the award-giving body will be giving eight trophies to its rightful owners. The awards are the Main Award, Trot Award, Rookie Award, R&B/Hip-Hop Award, Ballad Award, Popularity Award, OST Award, and K-Wave Award.

Alongside the awards mentioned are two more, created for the special 30th anniversary of the event. The new awards are the Legend Rookie Prize and Legend Grand Prize.

The voting period will commence this coming December 11 at precisely noon KST until January 24, 2021. Only ten votes per person are allowed for each category every day.

The Rookie Award category is star-studded

2020 was graced by the shiniest rookies in the K-pop industry. From aespa, TREASURE, TXT, to ENHYPEN, and more, the spotlight is on for the best of the best among the band vying for the crown. Undoubtedly, with the number of impressive and talented rookies this year, the competition will be tight and will become closer as the event is nearing.
