MONSTA X announces changes in its schedule for its upcoming online concert.

On July 10, the boy group's agency, Starship Entertainment, has made a public statement regarding the postponement and rescheduling of the male idols' previously announced concert.

As released by Hellokpop, the announcement reads, "Hello, this is Starship Entertainment. First of all, thank you for your interest and support. Last week, MONSTA X member Shownu went to an emergency surgery due to the diagnosis of left retinal detachment (amotio retinae), and he is currently recovering through rest."

The agency shared that after they analyzed the situation, especially considering Shownu's recovery stage, they decided to postpone and reschedule the online concert, which was initially scheduled for July 25 at 11 PM (EST) or July 26 at midnight (KST).

As previously reported, Shownu underwent an emergency eye surgery on July 2 after attending a check-up and was further advised to do the immediate surgery due to left eye retinal detachment, as per PUSH.

"We ask for your generous understanding that we have inevitably postponed the show to put the artist's health first for better performance, and now let you know the rescheduled show date as below:

8th August 11 PM /9th August midnight (KST)

We genuinely apologize to the many fans who have been waiting for the show and will continue to make sure Shownu received adequate rest and treatment until his condition improves. Once again, thank you for your love and support.

Thank you."

The pay-per-view concert will include performances of MONSTA X's English and Korean songs. Also, backstage footage, interviews, and fan interaction can be experienced during the special event.

With the group's music influence, the VIP tickets for their live online concert were already sold out since it was made available on July 26. Simultaneously, the first stream access and multi-cam access packages are still available through LiveXLive's official app and website.
