The K-pop industry has started to dominate the world with their music. With the continuous record-breaking achievements in world charts, haters and trolls have also been spreading like wildfire.

With this, entertainment agencies are doing their part to protect their artists in whatever they can, to avoid giving a chance for trolls to destroy their artists' image.

On July 7, MLD Entertainment voiced their warning against MOMOLAND's malicious commenters. The label stated via Kpophit, "We are making this statement because there has been an increase in comments with excessive slander and indiscriminate insults as MOMOLAND becomes more active in communicating with fans via fan café and social media."

They also stated that MOMOLAND has been experiencing extreme distress due to negative comments that take various forms, such as anonymous posts and hate comments from private accounts. The agency has seen that the current situation has become severe for them to disregard.

MLD Entertainment added, "Starting last week, we have taken measures such as blocking social media accounts and demoting members on the fan café without warning. If these measures prove ineffective and the current situation does not improve, then we will institute a ban on anonymous comments and take strong legal action."

The agency also asked fans to send them evidence against those trying to destroy their artists in PDF format to MLD Entertainment via email address fan@mldenter.com. This move is to eliminate malicious comments purposely.

"We will do our best to create a healthy fan culture and a healthy environment for MOMOLAND and their fans to communicate."

The company ended with acknowledgments to the fans who never ceases to support MOMOLAND and their agency- MLD Entertainment.

Recently, MOMOLAND signed a contract with U.S presentation, ICM Partners, on June 22, according to Forbes.

"We are thrilled to be presenting Momoland, who are now primed for the world stage," said ICM Partners Vice President John Pleeter.
