On his way to his training center, the actor waved goodbye to the fans and press outside.

Woo Do Hwan's agency, Keyeast, released a pre-recorded video message from the actor on their YouTube channel. He said, "I have said, "Hello, this is Woo Do Hwan" many times, but for a while, I will not be able to say it, so I'm saying again, "Hello, this is Woo Do Hwan. I'm saying goodbye to you as I move unto my enlistment."

He continued by saying his thanks to his fans for all the letters and the gifts he received. It made him realize that he is receiving so much love after reading, wearing, and displaying all he received.

He ended his pre-recorded video saying that his fans made his twenties very happy and that he will return healthy for his fans.

On June 24, 2020, Korea's rising star has made his announcement regarding the military service through a handwritten letter.

He said via Soompi, "You may be surprised by the sudden news, but I am writing this letter because I wanted to announce this to my fans first personally." He continued, "I am enlisting as an active-duty soldier on July 6, and I feel apologetic for not being able to meet you and say goodbye directly."

Meanwhile, Lee Min Ho, the co-star of Woo Do Hwan in "The King: Eternal Monarch," posted a cheesy photo of him with Woo Do Hwan a day ahead of Do Hwan's enlistment, flaunting their great friendship and closeness, as reported by Hellokpop.

The lovely photo captured a special moment with Lee Min Ho embracing Do Hwan in Seoul's beauty shop. The picture captioned, "I'll be back, Your Majesty."

The post made Woo Do Hwan recall his best memories with Lee Min Ho when they were still filming their beloved Netflix drama "The King: Eternal Monarch."

We wish Woo Do Hwan a safe service!
