The world’s most phenomenal K-pop group, Bangtan Boys, famously known as BTS, adds another record to its long list of achievements.

Dynamite rakes soaring Youtube views

BTS hails the music video for its first English single called Dynamite as the fastest South Korean act music video to exceed 500 million views. The international streaming platform graced the whopping number of viewers for Dynamite’s music video, uploaded on August 21.

In Particular, BTS achieved the feat on October 20 (Tuesday) at precisely 9 A.M. KST. The impressive feat only took the K-pop boy group 59 days and 20 hours to covet.

Dynamite’s notable music video hit comes after nine music videos of the group that have previously achieved the milestone. The music videos are Fire, DNA, MIC Drop (Steve Aoki Remix), Fake Love, Dope, IDOL, Blood Sweat & Tears, Boy With Luv with American singer Halsey, and Save Me.

BLACKPINK held the previous record for its How You Like That music video. It achieved the same feat that of BTS after two months and 12 days since it was released.

The music video for Dynamite was uploaded on Big Hit Entertainment’s official Youtube channel on August 18.

On August 20, a live countdown was facilitated by Big Hit Entertainment at 11:30 P.M. EST, 30 minutes before the official release of the music video.

The music video then bagged 10 million views in just 20 minutes, making the fastest Youtube video to achieve the feat. In 24 hours, it accumulated 101.1 million views and set out a Guinness World Record.

Furthermore, a B-side music video was also released by Big Hit Entertainment. It was shot in the same location and set up as to that of the original version. It was later on released on August 24, showcasing BTS in their intense camaraderie.
