Jennie dominating Spotify

Jennie Kim, famously known as Jennie of BLACKPINK, has achieved another feat. This time, on Spotify.

In a Soompi report, BLACKPINK Jennie's debut solo single titled SOLO has exceeded a soaring 240.8 million streams on Spotify, a music streaming platform. Jennie's home management and recording label, YG Entertainment, announced the joyful news on October 16 (Friday), alongside Jennie's new earned title.

Moreover, Jennie, 24, kicks out fellow K-pop artist PSY on the throne for holding the most-streamed song title on Spotify. Having that said, SOLO is now the most-streamed song by a Korean soloist on the music platform.

The previous record held by PSY, 42, was on his major hit single titled Gangnam Style in 2012, raking more than 240.6 million streams on the said music platform.

The newest milestone bagged by Jennie for SOLO comes after Spotify's announcement that the said track is the first single by a Korean female soloist to reach 200 million streams. The massive feat was announced by the music platform in April, proving Jennie's capacity to storm over the global music stage despite being alone.
