After a slight delay from the original comeback schedule, AB6IX is finally here!

On June 29, KST, Brand New Music's boy group released their 2nd mini-album 'Vivid,' featuring the title track 'The Answer' and its lively music video.

The music video for 'The Answer' can be described best as colorful, which matches the happy mood of the song and the summer season. The members of the group can be seen looking for something throughout the video.

As previously announced, Block B's Zico was the producer behind the AB6IX' album title track 'The Answer.'

'The Answer' is a funk-pop track with a refreshing charm that sounds unlike any of the group's previous title tracks. Paired with a music video that plays with the album's theme, the song showcases an array of bright colors as well as the group's upbeat dance performance, as reported by Allkpop.

AB6IX' second mini-album 'VIVID' contains a total of six tracks, including the title track. The rest of the songs are titled 'Red Up,' 'Vivid,' 'Surreal,' Midnight blue,' and 'Hold Tight.'

According to Soompi, Lee Dae Hwi took part in composing and writing the lyrics for 'Red Up' and 'Vivid,' while Lim Young Min and Park Woo Jin participated in the writing the lyrics for 'Red Up,' 'Vivid,' 'Surreal,' and 'Midnight Blue.'

AB6IX was initially scheduled to return on June 8. However, the group's leader, Youngmin, was caught driving under the influence and had his driver's license revoked on May 31 after attending a personal gathering.

After releasing an apology statement, Youngmin eventually decided to leave the group, saying he no longer want to cause harm to the group.

Due to the events, AB6IX's agency, Brand New Music, decided to move the comeback to a later date to reorganized AB6IX as a four-member group.

Although Youngmin still appears in the MV, his solo part in 'The Answer' and most of his screen time in the music video has been removed.

'Vivid' will be the group's first promotion without Youngmin.
