SuperM makes a grand debut on Billboard 200 with their new album "Super One!"

Billboard announced on October 4 that SuperM's first studio album "Super One" had debuted at No. 2 on its famous Top 200 Albums chart. The said chart is the weekly ranking of the most popular albums in the United States.

As per Billboard, "Super One" earned 104,000 equivalent album units during the week that ended on October 2. The album's total score consisted mainly of 101,000 traditional album sales and 3,000 equal streaming album (SEA) units. This translates to 5.2 million on-demand audio streams in the album's first week.

SuperM's second physical album release, "Super One," followed their 2019 debut mini-album "Super M." Last year, the first mini-album of the group entered the Billboard 200 at No. 1.

SuperM Revealed Music Video For 'Jopping'

SuperM brings together SHINee's Taemin, EXO's Baekhyun and Kai, NCT 127's Taeyong and Mark, and WayV's Lucas and Ten into one group as a new boy group from SM Entertainment.

"Jopping," having a message of "Let's burn it up on the stage to make it our own and enjoy it," is an electro-pop track with a superb and energetic sound. The song will be putting all of the members' talents on full display.

The first mini-album of SuperM was released on various Korean music streaming sites. The group was able to perform together for the first time at Capitol Records in Hollywood on October 5, local time.

SuperM Describing Themselves As Avengers

SuperM was recently interviewed for the Grammy Museum's streaming service Collection: Live. The group was asked how the members navigated the shift as they moved back and forth between SuperM and their various other groups.

In the interview, SuperM described themselves as an "Avengers" style group formed from the members of EXO, NCT/WayV, and SHINee.

The group shared that there are a lot of concepts that are possible within the group. And there is excellent potential for performances that fans have never seen before with the mixed members.
