Red Velvet's Irene and Seulgi have shared a mood sampler and the first concept photos for their unit debut!

On June 29, Irene's concept photos were released by SM Entertainment along with a video teaser. While, Seulgi's concept photos were released the next, June 30.

After SM Entertainment previously announced the postponement of Red Velvet's Irene & Seulgi subunit debut, claiming that they had to work on the album a bit more, an SM Entertainment representative finally confirmed that the subunit would be debuting on July 6, Kpopthing reported.

As reported, Seulgi and Irene will be debuting with a joint mini-album titled 'Monster.' The mini-album will contain a total of 6 songs with various genres.

The duo is already dubbed as the 'Fantastic Unit' of Red Velvet before even making their debut.

Since the debut of Red Velvet's first sub-unit was announced, thousands of fans have been thrilled to see Irene and Seulgi on stage, the girls from the K-pop group who are known for their excellent friendship and dynamics, reported by Somag News.

In a recent clip published on Red Velvet's official social networks as part of the promotions, Irene is seen drawing a small colored monster, while Seulgi watches the movements and strokes of her partner. The fans who watched the clip praised Irene for her artistic skills.

Ahead of the debut, SM Entertainment released two photos of the CD's official logo for Irene and Seulgi's mini-album. The images appear in two different shades: black and white. The symbol that will characterize the Red Velvet – Irene & Seulgi subunit will be '&.'

Irene took to Lysn to reveal the date of the unit's first debut stage, which will be on a Friday, July 10, at KBS Music Bank.

Meanwhile, fans are more than excited for Irene and Seulgi's unit debut since the duo is the first Red Velvet sub-unit since the group debuted back in 2014.
