WOODZ (Cho Seung Youn) just dropped the music video for his new track, 'Love Me Harder,' marking his return to the stage!

On June 29 at 6 p.m. KST, WOODZ released his first mini-album entitled 'EQUAL' along with his music video for the title track 'Love Me Harder.'

The idol wrote the lyrics himself for 'Love Me Harder,' while POPTIME and NATHAN get the credits for co-composing the title track with him as per Soompi.

Cho Seung Youn co-composed and wrote lyrics for all seven tracks on his mini-album. Two songs include featuring artists, Colde and Punchnello.

The first mini-album contains seven tracks, including the title track 'Love Me Harder.' The remaining tracks are 'Lift Up,' 'Accident,' 'NOID,' 'Waikiki" ft. Colde,' 'BUCK ft. Punchnello,' and 'Kaleidoscope.'

'EQUAL' is Cho Seung Youn's first comeback since wrapping up promotions with Produce X 101's project group X1 earlier this year.

Before joining the survival show Produce X 101 and debuting with the project group X1, Cho Seung Youn debuted with UNIQ in 2014 under Yuehua Entertainment.

As the group's main rapper and sub-vocalist, he was involved in UNIQ's musical direction since their debut, writing his rap verses and song lyrics for some of their Korean tracks.

He was first attributed under the name WOODZ in February 2018 with the publicity of singer and producer EDEN's lP RYU: 川, in which he co-produced the song '93' and starred on the track 'Dance.'

In March 2019, Cho Seung Youn was then revealed to be participating as a contestant in Produce X 101. However, he still resumed his work as a lyricist and producer while filming for the show until the program began airing in May 2019.

Cho Seung Youn finished fifth during the show's finale in July, becoming the trainee with the lowest initial rank to earn a spot in the final lineup of the project band X1.

X1 then debuted on August 27, 2019, with the release of the EP Emergency: Quantum Leap. The band was originally contracted for five years. However, due to a vote manipulation controversy, involving multiple Mnet franchises, the group eventually disbanded on January 6, 2020.

After the disbandment, Cho Seung Yon now goes by WOODZ, finally runs solo, and is ready to catch our groove with his latest track.
