Phenomenal star Kim Hee-Won spent time in an interview for the upcoming movie to discuss in more depth about his relationship controversy with the star, Park Bo Young, that occurred in January of this year.

Concerning the dating controversy, Kim Hee-Won expressed how the controversy did not negatively impact him as it was utterly groundless. He concluded how it simply slipped his mind because he was not worried about it.

Kim Hee Won further added how he could not believe how the brief meeting of him with Park Bo Young sparked such controversy, concluding he has no clarifications to say to the public.

"'We're just a relatively close sunbae and hoobae,' I can't simply say. I just felt like it seemed fabricated. So I just wanted to say that this is entirely untrue. If people don't believe me, what can I do? That's the truth." (via Koreaboo)

Kim Hee Won also discussed the allegations on an episode of tVN's House On Wheels before this statement. Dating speculation arose about the two stars, who share a 19-year age factor, in January of this year, after being seen together in a cafe. But also nine months after the unexpected controversy, Kim Hee Won's status remains constant.

CAFE OWNER ADMITS MISTAKE ON SPARKING CONTROVERSY

Earlier this year in January, SBS's Access Showbiz Tonight planned to visit the cafe where the dating gossip about Park Bo Young and Kim Hee Won started talking about the owner's controversy.

A CCTV video of Park Bo Young made headlines online ahead of this conversation, igniting speculation that she was seeing actor Kim Hee Won, which had been refuted by both Park Bo Young and the company of Kim Hee Won.

With regard to this case, the café owner publicly apologized and summarized what occurred. "I wanted to brag that Park Bo Young and Kim Hee Won had come to my café, so I had a CCTV recording of them on the wall. That resulted to the controversy. I apologize sincerely." (via Koreaboo)
