Here’s a thrilling new teaser of the upcoming SBS drama “Penthouse!”
SBS’ “Penthouse,” per Soompi, follows the story of a woman who strives to achieve her goal of entering high society by becoming the “queen” in the 100th-floor penthouse in Gangnam, the pinnacle of success in her eyes, as well as women who had no choice but to become villains to protect themselves.
The drama’s main cast includes Lee Ji Ah, Kim So Yeon, Uhm Ki Joon Eugene, Shin Eun Kyung, Bong Tae Gyu, Yoon Jong Hoon, Park Eun Seok, and Yoon Joo Hee.
A new trailer labeled as “mood teaser” was released on September 21. It centers around a statue of Hera, the goddess of women, marriage, family, and childbirth. A powerful glimpse of the corrupt and dangerous world of the wealthy is unveiled in the 30-second clip.
The main characters appear with eyes of shock, fear, and anger, as one woman falls from a building. The fallen woman then lands in the statue’s embrace, and the goddess is now dripping with bright blood. People with fancy wigs stare at the sight in awe. The viewer’s curiosity is somehow heightened with this ambiguous and symbolic clip about the tangled web of deceit the characters will become involved in.

Lee Ji Ah plays a graceful, elegant, dignified woman who has never been lacking in her life and is a bona fide penthouse queen named Shim Soo Ryeon. Kim So Yeon is a wealthy woman named Cheon Seo Jin, who is the epitome of showy and arrogant and who harbors a warped ambition.
On the other hand, Eugene is Oh Yoon Hee. He is someone who has never once experienced wealth and who has lived her life with gritted teeth.
Uhm Ki Joon is the genius of the real estate named Joo Dan Tae, who rakes in money with every investment he makes. He is the husband of Shim Soo Ryeon, played by Lee Ji Ah.
A woman named Kang Ma Ri, who has recently come into wealth and lives a secretive double life, is played by Shin Eun Kyung. Furthermore, Bong Tae Gyu is the lawyer Lee Kyu Jin. He is the only son — and momma’s boy — of a wealthy family of judges and lawyers.
The ambitious Ha Yoon Cheol, who believes that a man must hold wealth and power, is played by Yoon Jong Hoon. He is Cheon Seo Jin’s husband, played by Kim So Yeon, and the head of surgery in the VIP department of the hospital where he works.
Finally, Park Eun Seok is a cunning physical education teacher at an art school named Gu Ho Dong, and Yoon Joo Hee is a former announcer named Go Sang Ah, and the wife of Lee Kyu Jin, played by Bong Tae Gyu.
