Kwak Si Yang Shares What It's Like Working With Kim Hee Sun On 'Alice' In 'My Ugly Duckling'

On the September 20 episode of SBS’s “My Ugly Duckling,” they had actor Kwak Si Yang as their guest.

Kwak Si Yang is currently appearing in the drama “Alice” together with Kim Hee Sun and Joo Won. He received many texts on how popular the drama is, and even Kim Hee Sun texted him to compliment him.

He added that the aura on the set was good, but if he had to pick one person who will take especial care of him, he would choose Kim Hee Sun. Kwak Si Yang thought that Kim Hee Sun might be cold and hard to approach, but she is kind, and she takes care of her juniors.

She even brought Kwak Si Yang a birthday gift even though he never told her about his birthday. She is a natural carer of the people around her, and she freely spends her own money.

Talking about his family dynamics, Kwak Si Yang shared that he has four older sisters. He stated that he has many sisters, and he got pushed around a lot while growing up. His oldest sister is 13 years older than him. Kwak Si Yang had a lot of frustration while growing up as the youngest.

Seo Jang Hoon commented that they must have helped raised him, but Kwak Si Yang disagreed. He shared that her sisters made him do all the errands. If his mom asked someone to do something, it would fall back to him. If they were given 1000 won (approximately $1) in exchange for that, he would not get the full 1000 won.

Moreover, Seo Jang Hoon asked Kwak Si Yang that it would be a challenge for his wife to have four sisters-in-law. Kwak Si Yang replied that her sisters would not act tough or anything. His future wife should not worry, and his family will accept whoever he wants to marry. (Via Soompi)
