The new drama of KBS 2TV "Homemade Love Story" kicked off with high ratings!

The brand-new weekend drama starring Jin Ki Joo, Lee Jang Woo, WJSN's Bona, and more titled "Homemade love Story" on September 19 aired its first episode. As per Nielsen Korea, "Homemade Love Story" quickly became the night's most-watched drama as its premiere scored an average nationwide rating of 19.9 percent and 23.3 percent for its two parts.

"Homemade Love Story," on its first episode, also earned higher viewership ratings than the achieved score by the premiere of its hit predecessor "Once Again."

"Once Again" previously occupied the time slot of "Homemade Love Story."

The new KBS weekend drama follows the various stories that take place inside the Samkwang Villa. "Homemade Love Story," a family drama, centers around the villa owner named Lee Soon Jung (Jeon In Hwa), who welcomes everyone to her table.

Lee Jang Woo stars as Woo Jae Hee, a detail-oriented architect, and Jin Ki Joo takes the role of Lee Bit Chae Woon, who has to shoulder the responsibility of taking care of her family.

The September 19 episode of the drama shared Woo Jae Hee and Lee Bit Chae Woon's first encounter. The pair are at a construction site, and with spiteful eyes, they can't stop glaring at each other. It's as if they can't even stand the sight of each other.

Meanwhile, both Channel A's suspense drama "Lie After Lie" and SBS's sci-fi drama "Alice" enjoyed significant viewership increases from their last episodes. "Alice" scored an average nationwide rating of 7.4 percent and 9.6 percent for its two parts. "Lie After Lie," on the other hand, scored an average rating of 4.2 percent nationwide.

Lastly, scoring an average nationwide rating of 6.8 percent for the night is tvN's suspense drama "Forest of Secrets 2" starring Bae Doona and Cho Seung Woo.
