Dindin and Rainbow’s Hyunyoung, who are longtime friends, recently took an eventful walk down the memory lane!

The two childhood friends appeared in an interview about whether men and women could be platonic friends, in a new video posted by Hyunyoung’s youtube channel. Hyunyoung shared how he and Dindin knew each other that they grew up and lived together in the same neighborhood starting elementary school through high school, so they considered themselves childhood friends.

Dindin then claimed that Hyunyoung dated him during middle school, an assertion that Hyunyoung protested. Dindin also said that they dated about two weeks in their third year of middle school.

Suddenly, Hyunyoung watching from behind the camera, exclaimed when she ever dated him, denying Dindin’s claim and even resorting to some colorful languages declaring that it is not valid. And that, Dindin was only making stuff on his own.

Dindin then told the story of their alleged two-week relationship and explained that they were deskmates. He did ask her to go out with him, but he realized how short-tempered she was. That time, a younger student confessed her feelings for Dindin, so he decided to go out with her instead.

He sent a message to Hunyoung, pretending and said that he could not go out because his friend liked her. After that, they started dating and became close friends.

He also added that because it had been exam time when they started dating, their dates had consisted mainly of studying together on the roof.

The two friends agreed on a more recent memory of DinDin hitting on Hyunyoung in a taxi.

While discussing whether men and women could be friends, Hyunyoung mentioned a moment when DinDin got drunk and moved on her in a cab. DinDin recalled laughing because he remembered Hyunyoung slapped him more than once for having no choice of what he said that goes, “You’re pretty. I feel like I’m seeing you in a different light today.” She was upset then that she yelled at him to get lost.

However, despite commenting favorably of each other, they both agreed that there is no way they could ever date in the future. But they recalled that they had promised each other once in grade school to get married if they were both singles at 40. Dindin and Hyunyoung passionately agreed that there was no way they would go through it, and they have been crazy to consider such a thing that time.
