The new OCN drama "Search" is raising viewers' anticipation!

The drama "Search," starring Jang Dong Yoon and Krystal, is a mystery thriller about a particular mission set out to discover the truth behind the mysterious disappearances and murders in the DMZ or demilitarized zone.

After releasing the posters and the teaser video, OCN now shares some vital critical points that drama fans can look forward to in "Search."

First, the "Search" is described as the first drama to contain "military" and "thriller" genres in one drama. The DMZ's location is somewhere South and North Korea, a strip of land that acts more like a buffer zone between the two countries and a meeting point.

The drama will be covering some suspicious incidents that the team of special forces aims to uncover and know the truth behind them. A mysterious unknown enemy they will be facing. The elements will surely guarantee the viewers that they will be at the edge of their seats throughout the show.

Besides, the unique aspects of the "military thriller" will create a tension between caused by the different ranks of the character, and of course, the actors are in full gear for additional impact.

Second, there has been a lot of excitement surrounding the leading actors since the casting stage. Jang Dong Yoon is taking on a transformation for his first-ever genre work.

On the other hand, Krystal makes her first comeback by playing the role of a flawless soldier. After seeing them take on the recently released poster, fans were excited and curious to find out what kind of chemistry the pair will be creating as they partner for the drama.

Sergeant Yong Dong-Jin (to be played by Jang Dong Yoon), armed with a burning desire of justice, teams up with a scout dog to take the lead on their mission. Meanwhile, first lieutenant Son Ye Rim( to be played by Krystal) is known as the brain of the special mission team, using her keen senses and sharp eyes to find essential clues on the way.

The drama director is Im Dae Woong, who has a lot of experience in directing mystery and horror films. Together on his team are writers Goo Mo and Goo Myung Joo for the new drama.
